Revere Board of Education
George SeifertBoard Member PresidentLegislative LiaisonStudent Achievement LiaisonGeorge Seifert, a Revere district parent, a county fire inspector and retired member of the Bath Fire Department was elected to the Board of Education in November 2009.
He now serves as President of the Board.
He and his wife, Jill, are active members of the Revere community.
Dana AppelBoard Member Vice PresidentFinance & Audit Committee RepresentativeDana Appel, a graduate of Wittenberg University, has been an active volunteer in the District as a parent and community member for many years.She now serves as Vice President of the Board.
She and husband, Michael, have four children. Two are Revere graduates and the youngest currently attends school in the District.
Additionally, she is the business manager of a dental practice. Mrs. Appel began her first term of office in January 2012.
Claudia HowerBoard MemberFinance & Audit Committee RepresentativeCVCC Representative and MemberAfter receiving her B.A. in Mathematics, Mrs. Hower earned a Masters’ Degree in Education from Kent State University as a math clinician. During her career, she taught 19 years in the Revere District and is currently retired.
She and her husband, Jim, are long-time residents of the community.
She was elected to the Board of Education in 2009.Chris KostoffBoard MemberFacilities and Grounds Committee RepresentativeChris Kostoff returned to the Board in January 2018, after an eight-year break. A father of three sons, Mr. Kostoff has served on the Revere Strategic Planning Committee, Revere Facilities Committee, Revere Soccer Association, and many other organizations within the past several years.
A resident of the Revere Local School District for 20 years, Mr. Kostoff is the Vice President of Marketing/Client Services with a multimedia company in Cleveland.
Diana SabitschBoard MemberFacilities and Grounds Committee RepresentativeReturning to the Revere Board of Education is long-time resident Diana Sabitsch. After a four-year break, Mrs. Sabitsch began her seventh term on the Board in January 2012.
A former Copley-Fairlawn School District staff member, Revere parent and grandparent, she brings a wealth of community and school related experiences.
