At Happy Valley School District, we strive for Ethics in Education. We provide guidelines to help all Happy Valley School District staff members and students to use print, videos, music or computer software within legal copyright guidelines. These guidelines are intended to provide a general guidance on the application of "fair use" principles, as defined by the U.S. Congress in the Federal Copyright Law of 1976, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 and any other guidelines published by Congress.
Staff members and students who have questions regarding the Copyright & Plagiarism guidelines should contact their school librarian for assistance. The Happy Valley School Board has approved the policy on Copyrighting & Plagiarism.
