    Mission:
     
    The HVMS band is designed to encourage students to grow and learn through music. All students are welcome in the band from beginners to experienced musicians.
     
    Objectives:
     
     - To teach music by performance
     - To develop performance skills of the various wind and percussion instruments
     - To acquaint students with music theory, history and composition
     - To provide all students with the opportunity for self-expression and a healthy social experience
     - To foster leadership skills within each student
