The 2009 field hockey coaching staff is getting geared up for next season. After a disappointing end to last season by getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, we are intent on taking this season the distance. We have almost the same team as last year, having lost only 4 girls to varsity.We are having a summer hockey camp for all interested players the week of August 6th to the 10th. Official team tryouts will be during the first week of the school year. There will be an associated fee of $50 for the camp and $75 for the season, for those that are chosen for the team. We wish we could take all players, but unfortunately there is not room to do so.There will be an intramural team for the students that do not make the final cut. The IM team does have the chance of playing for the travel team though, if there are injuries or players out sick, so please do not feel like you 'don't have a chance'. We look forward to working with all of you this coming season.
