Health Education helps students to understand the physical, mental, and social changes they experience during adolescence. Students learn about such health issues as safety and accident prevention, physical fitness, nutrition and weight control, adolescence and puberty, substance use and abuse, and human sexuality. They also explore self-esteem and coping techniques through diverse learning strategies including values clarification and decision-making activities.
